Maxlin Enterprise Limited is a Private Company Specialized in Provision of Professional Commercial and Domestic Cleaning, Sanitary and Pest Control Services.\u00a0The Company is seeking to employ a qualified candidate to fill the position of\u00a0Assistant Accountant.\u00a0The Assistant Accountant will support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and assisting in day-to-day accounting operations.
\nThe main duties of the successful candidate will include:<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate accounting records, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.
\nPrepare monthly and quarterly reports on accounts receivable, overdue accounts, and credit performance for management
\nEnsure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure timely payments.
\nResolve customer disputes or queries related to invoices or credit terms and reconciliation of accounts.
\nEnsure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as data protection and financial standards.
\nForecast incoming payments to support budgeting and financial planning.
\nSupport processing of payments, receipts, and petty cash.
\nEnsure proper filing and maintenance of financial documents.
\nAssist with budget monitoring and expenditure control.
\nSupport internal and external audit processes.
\nEnsure full adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
\nOther finance ad-hoc duties<\/p>\n
The successful will be required to have the following qualifications:<\/p>\n
Must have a Grade 12 Certificate (including Mathematics and English)
\nDiploma in Accounts and Finance, Business Administration, ZICA or any related field. Degree will be an added advantage
\nAt least 1 year of proven experience\u00a0accounting experience.<\/p>\n

Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
\nAbility to handle challenging customer situations professionally.
\nFamiliarity with accounting software and reporting tools.
\nKnowledge of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
\nHigh level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
\nAbility to work with minimal supervision and meet deadline<\/p>\n
