\nLegal Aid Board (LAB) is a statutory body established under the\u00a0Legal Aid Act No. 1 of 2021. The Board is mandated to provide legal aid services to persons with inadequate means. The Board now seeks to appoint the following:<\/p>\n
3. ICT Technician \u2013 Lusaka
\nTo undertake the provision of technical support in ICT services in order to facilitate service delivery.
\nResponsibilities and Key Result Areas
\ni. Undertakes effectively the collection and documentation of data on user needs in order to facilitate analysis, identification of areas of improvement and facilitate system development;
\nSoftware
\nii. Undertakes effectively the maintenance of network as well as monitoring their performance in order to facilitate the smooth operations;
\niii. Undertakes effectively the provision of technical support in the configuration, installation and maintenance of I.T hardware in order to facilitate availability and provision of IT services;
\niv. Undertakes effectively the maintenance of an inventory of network systems in order to facilitate their documentation;
\nv. Undertakes effectively the provision of technical support in the implementation of security measures for IT systems in order to prevent unauthorised access and protect the integrity of the institution\u2019s data;
\nvi. Undertakes effectively the delivery of end user training programmes in order to impart skills to utilise IT resources;
\nvii. Undertakes effectively the development of test plans in order to verify system functionality;
\nviii. Undertakes effectively the configuration of ICT tools in order to facilitate their utilisation; and
\nix. Undertakes effectively the trouble shooting of end users IT issues in order to facilitate their timely resolution.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Full Form V \/ Grade 12 School Certificate<\/p>\n
Diploma in Computer Science or its equivalent<\/p>\n
Member of the ICTAZ<\/p>\n
Work Experience<\/p>\n
At least one year of relevant job experience<\/p>\n
