This role oversees all aspects of team member experience \u2014 from recruitment to development \u2014 and ensures a safe, compliant, and inspiring work environment. It\u2019s about building a values-led culture, enabling growth, and ensuring an exceptional team member experience across every touchpoint.<\/p>\n<p>Job Description<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Develop and implement comprehensive People &amp; Culture strategies that align with organisational objectives and foster a high-performance culture.<br \/>\nOversee the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and retention initiatives.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with all relevant labour laws, regulations, and company policies.<br \/>\nManage employee relations, addressing concerns and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.<br \/>\nImplement and oversee workplace safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.<br \/>\nConduct regular analysis of P&amp;C metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.<br \/>\nCollaborate with senior leadership to drive organisational change and cultural transformation initiatives.<br \/>\nManage the P&amp;C\/Learning budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and return on investment.<br \/>\nDesign and execute learning and development programmes to enhance employee skills and support career progression.<br \/>\nDeliver orientation, compliance, skills, leadership, and brand-based training sessions.<br \/>\nStay abreast of industry trends and best practices in P&amp;C and learning &amp; development to continuously improve departmental processes and outcomes.<br \/>\nOversee staff accommodation operations including cleanliness, upkeep, safety, and allocation.<br \/>\nEnsure staff restaurant meals meet nutrition, quality, and hygiene standards.<br \/>\nMonitor and manage staff transport schedules and safety standards.<br \/>\nDevelop and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture.<br \/>\nIdentify and nurture high-potential employees through succession planning and targeted talent development programmes.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Degree in Human Resources\u00a0Management or related field<br \/>\n5+ years in a People &amp; Culture role, preferably in hospitality or remote\/lodge environments<br \/>\nProven experience in Learning &amp; Development and organizational development an added advantage<br \/>\nStrong understanding of\u00a0 Zambian labor law, compliance, and employee wellbeing<br \/>\nExceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills<br \/>\nPassion for people, culture, learning \u2014 and making a real difference<br \/>\nFamiliarity with HRIS systems and people analytics is advantageous<br \/>\nMust be a member of ZIHRM<\/p>\n<p>Additional Information<\/p>\n<p>Key Attributes<\/p>\n<p>Strategically Minded<br \/>\nPeople &amp; Customer Centric<br \/>\n\u00a0Hands-On &amp; Operational<br \/>\nOrganized &amp; Detail-Oriented<br \/>\nProactive &amp; Solution-Oriented<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
