To strengthen our ability to respond quickly and effectively, we\u2019re seeking a Deployment Coordinator to ensure rapid, well\u2011organised, and compliant surge deployments across our global humanitarian portfolio.

\n\u2b50 What You\u2019ll Be Doing
\nAs the Deployment Coordinator, you will manage the full deployment cycle for surge staff supporting humanitarian responses. You\u2019ll be the central link between country teams, technical rosters, HR, Finance and our travel partners\u2014ensuring every deployment is smooth, timely and fully compliant.
\nYou will:
\nManage the global deployment tracker and request system
\nCoordinate the end\u2011to\u2011end deployment process \u2014 from request to closure
\nArrange travel, accommodation and required documentation
\nMaintain accurate, real\u2011time deployment and travel records
\nProvide onboarding materials and ensure all mandatory training is completed
\nSupport roster recruitment, shortlisting, and screening
\nMonitor roster availability and proactively identify suitable candidates
\nOversee recharge processes, deployment costing and monthly financial tracking
\nImplement and maintain scheduling systems and standardised templates
\nCollate and analyse travel data to support planning and workload management
\nEnsure full compliance with Safeguarding, Gender Equality and Inclusion policies
\n Key Relationships
\nYou\u2019ll work closely with:
\nInternal: Deployment Manager, P&C teams, Finance, CO\/RO humanitarian teams, Global Humanitarian Team, and roster members.
\nExternal: Travel partners, consultants, and external surge personnel.
\n What We\u2019re Looking For
\nEssential:
\nStrong administrative and coordination experience
\nExcellent organisation and time\u2011management skills, especially under tight deadlines
\nStrong data management and Excel\/reporting skills
\nExperience working with HR, logistics or deployment processes
\nClear, confident written and verbal communication
\nDesirable
\nExperience within humanitarian surge mechanisms or INGO emergency response
\nLanguage skills in French, Spanish or Arabic
\nLocation: The location of this role can be flexible where Plan International has an office* that can employ on behalf of the Global Hub and you have the pre-existing right to work and live.
\nType of Role: Permanent or maximum fixed term contract as per employing entities terms and conditions.
