\nJob Summary
\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced\u00a0Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic\u00a0responsible for the\u00a0inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of HOWO Sinotruk 371NX trucks and 30-ton semi-trailers. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty diesel engines, driveline systems, trailer components, and preventive maintenance procedures.
\nThe mechanic must be capable of diagnosing faults quickly, carrying out repairs efficiently, and ensuring that all vehicles remain in optimal operating condition to support fleet reliability and safety.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Vehicle Maintenance and Servicing<\/p>\n
Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on\u00a0HOWO Sinotruk 371NX trucks and 30-ton semi-trailers.
\nConduct oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, brake adjustments, and component inspections.
\nEnsure all scheduled maintenance is carried out according to manufacturer specifications.<\/p>\n
Diagnostics and Repairs<\/p>\n
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults in trucks and trailers.
\nRepair or replace faulty components including engines, gearboxes, suspensions, braking systems, axles, and steering mechanisms.
\nTroubleshoot and repair trailer systems including landing gear, air brake systems, suspension, and coupling systems.<\/p>\n
Inspection and Safety Compliance<\/p>\n
Conduct thorough pre-service and post-repair inspections.
\nEnsure all vehicles meet safety and roadworthiness standards.
\nIdentify potential mechanical issues early and recommend corrective actions.<\/p>\n
Breakdown Response<\/p>\n
Provide prompt mechanical support during vehicle breakdowns when required.
\nCarry out emergency repairs to minimize fleet downtime.<\/p>\n
Workshop Operations<\/p>\n
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
\nProperly use and maintain workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery.
\nMaintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service activities.<\/p>\n
Continuous Learning and Improvement<\/p>\n
Demonstrate strong\u00a0problem-solving skills and quick learning ability\u00a0in adapting to new repair techniques or technologies.
\nStay updated with manufacturer repair procedures and industry best practices.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
Craft Certificate in Heavy Duty Mechanics \/ Automotive Mechanics or equivalent.
\nMinimum of 5 years proven experience\u00a0servicing and repairing heavy duty trucks and semi-trailers.
\nDemonstrated experience working on\u00a0HOWO Sinotruk trucks, preferably the\u00a0371NX model.<\/p>\n
Key Skills and Competencies<\/p>\n
Strong knowledge of\u00a0diesel engine systems and heavy-duty truck mechanics.
\nProficiency in\u00a0diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
\nHigh level of expertise in\u00a0repair and maintenance procedures for trucks and trailers.

\nExcellent\u00a0problem-solving and analytical skills.
