Purpose of role
\nTo provide high quality clinical care to patients of Beit CURE Hospital.
\nClinical Responsibilities<\/p>\n
To Clerk, diagnosing and treat patients with clinical presentation.<\/p>\n
To provide quality medical care under the supervision and direction of Consultants
\nCarry out emergencies.
\nCarry out basic diagnostic procedures.
\nAttend ward rounds and conduct day to day review of patients.
\nTo manage patients in the clinic and in the ward
\nTo ensure comprehensive, accurate and concise medical records are maintained for patients with an appropriate signed and dated legible entry in the patient\u2019s medical record.
\nFollow the instructions of consultants for their specific regime for each individual patient.
\nTo be familiar with emergency equipment and procedures.
\nTo Maintain good communications with all areas and disciplines within the health service and with local medical facilities to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the hospital.
\nTo Participate in clinical audit and quality programs as appropriate.
\nTo be \u201con-call\u201d and participate in shift rosters day and night call.
\nCompetent in pre- and post-operative management of surgical patients.
\nRespect patients\u2019 rights and uphold patient confidentiality.
\nUndertakes other duties when and as required.
\nTo perform preoperative assessments on patients.
\nUnderstand the importance and practice of personal audit.
\nBe a team player and work cooperatively with colleagues, staff and the public to improve the delivery of services to the community.
\nTo participate in the clinical audit activities.
\nTo participate in outreach camps if required.
\nTo work with researchers seeking to understand pathology and delivery of care.
\nTo participate in clinical meetings that are undertaken by the clinical unit.
\nTo participate in continual professional improvement and medical education Programs.<\/p>\n
