\nPurpose of Role
\nThe District Postmaster will be responsible for providing leadership and overseeing postal, courier, and financial services operations within the district. The role ensures efficient service delivery, revenue growth, staff performance management, and compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements.
\nDuties and Key Responsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
Supervise and coordinate daily operations of post offices and postal agencies within the district.
\nEnsure timely delivery and dispatch of mail, parcels, and courier items in line with service standards.
\nManage financial transactions and safeguard district revenue.
\nSupervise and support staff performance and ensure adherence to HR policies.
\nPromote ZAMPOST products and services to increase customer uptake.
\nMaintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints.
\nEnsure compliance with operational, financial, and security procedures.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Qualifications\/Requirements<\/p>\n
Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with at least five (5) credits including English and Mathematics.
\nDiploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.
\nMinimum of three (3) years\u2019 work experience in postal, financial, or customer service operations, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory role.
\nMust be a resident of Siavonga.<\/p>\n
