\nRole Summary
\nThe Production Technician operates and maintains production equipment, ensuring efficient and safe manufacturing activities. The role includes operating at least one of the main production machines (Protos Maker, GD Packer, or KDF Filter Maker) and supporting another machine when needed. The Technician also leads preventive maintenance, machine overhauls, installations, and commissioning of new or upgraded equipment.
\nAccountabilities
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Operate, maintain, and adjust production machinery.
\nSupport quick resolution of machine breakdowns.
\nPerform preventive maintenance and inspections.
\nComplete machine conversions and equipment upgrades.
\nEnsure equipment settings support consistent product quality.
\nFollow all safety procedures and work rules.
\nSupport creation and improvement of cleaning and maintenance standards.
\nIdentify defects and ensure long\u2011term corrective actions.
\nFollow maintenance schedules.
\nEnsure machines operate safely and effectively.
\nProvide guidance and coaching to team members.
\nSupport problem\u2011solving and continuous improvement activities.
\nWork closely with Operators, Quality staff, and Line Teams.
\nSuggest improvements that enhance productivity, efficiency, or safety.<\/p>\n
Experience, Skills, And Knowledge
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Diploma in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
\nAt least three years of experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.
\nStrong technical and preventive maintenance skills.
\nGood communication and collaboration abilities.<\/p>\n
