\nASSISTANT EDUCATION AND MEMBERSHIP OFFICER

Main Job Purpose
\nThe Assistant Education and Membership Officer will support the management of the Education and Membership Unit. The role involves assisting in the development, implementation and monitoring of education and membership plans aligned with the Institute\u2019s strategic priorities and professional development agenda for logistics and transport practitioners.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Support training providers to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and Institute policies on education and management of student membership.
\nEducation<\/p>\n
Collaborate with the Inspectorate Unit to develop and implement membership recruitment strategies.<\/p>\n
Assist in effective management and implementation of membership benefits and membership database.<\/p>\n
Manage membership applications, renewals and upgrades.<\/p>\n
Assist in organizing and delivering in-service training and professional development programmes.<\/p>\n
Plan, implement and prepare comprehensive reports on education and membership activities.<\/p>\n
Support the prudent administration and management of Institute\u2019s examinations and related activities.<\/p>\n
Support the management of the Institute\u2019s electronic system (e-ZCILT), website, and official social media platforms.<\/p>\n
Facilitate effective communication between ZCILT and international logistics and transport bodies, including CILT International.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Full Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Education or equivalent qualification<\/p>\n
Minimum of\u00a0three (3) years relevant work experience<\/p>\n
Technology proficiency, including experience with membership, education, and examination management systems<\/p>\n
Registered Member of the\u00a0Teaching Council of Zambia<\/p>\n
Qualification in\u00a0Information and Communication Technology (ICT)\u00a0will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
