Responsible for supervising drivers, managing loading procedures, and ensuring the smooth execution of transport operations from start to finish.<br \/>\nMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Driver Communication &amp; Supervision: Effectively communicate and supervise drivers regarding the loading plan, ensuring all necessary steps are followed.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Loading Orders: Send out detailed and timely loading orders to drivers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with transportation requirements.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Tracking Reports: Send out daily tracking reports by 09:00 hours to all clients, providing updates on the fleet\u2019s status, progress, and any delays.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Expediting Operations: Expedite loading, border crossing, and offloading procedures to minimize delays and ensure the timely delivery of goods.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Demurrage Management: Handle and process demurrage requests after 3 days of delays or as per contractual terms, ensuring all protocols are followed.<br \/>\n6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Manifest Generation: Generate accurate manifests for loaded fleets, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with all regulations.<br \/>\n7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Receiving of PODs and Receipts. Shall be responsible for receiving of receipts for completed trips and PODs from drivers. And will proceed to scan the copies and submit to the supervisor.<br \/>\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s degree or Diploma in Logistics &amp; Transport, Purchasing &amp; Supply or related Field.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must be resident in Ndola or willing to re-locate.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0No experience required, graduates encouraged to apply.<br \/>\nOTHER REQUIREMENTS<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong communication and organizational skills.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ability to work under pressure and manage tight timelines.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Knowledge of Microsoft operating tools.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
