\nTo support the Manager in driving innovative strategies and initiatives within the ICT regulatory framework to enhance the development of ICT systems and foster enterprise agility within ZICTA
\n(B)\u00a0Statements of Main Responsibilities
\nThis role involves conducting research, assisting in the development of strategies to address the digital divide, managing innovation projects, engaging with stakeholders, and promoting inclusive policy frameworks. The Officer will also support the implementation of agile practices to enhance the development of ICT systems and foster enterprise agility within ZICTA.
\nThe main duties are as follows:-\u00a0<\/p>\n
Conducts in-depth research and analysis to understand the digital divide across various sectors and communities.
\nAssists in market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation within the ICT sector.
\nAnalyzes data and trends to inform decision-making and strategy development.
\nAssists in the development and implementation of comprehensive innovation strategies aligned with the Fund &ZICTA\u2019s goals and objectives.
\nHelps develop strategies that address accessibility, digital literacy, affordability, and diverse content creation.
\nSupports the Manager in leading and managing innovation projects from conception to completion.
\nAssists in overseeing the project management of ICT systems development projects using agile methodologies.
\nHelps implement agile practices to ensure efficient and effective development of ICT systems that support ZICTA goals.
\nPromotes a culture of innovation and creativity within ZICTA.
\nEncourages and supports employees in developing and implementing new ideas.
\nHelps develop and implement metrics to measure the success and impact of innovation initiatives.<\/p>\n

General Education:<\/p>\n
Full Grade 12 School Certificate<\/p>\n
\u00a0 2. Professional Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Innovation Management, Strategy, Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
\nKnowledge and experience with agile methodologies and practices are added advantages
\nMembership of relevant professional body<\/p>\n
3.\u00a0Relevant Pre-Job Experience:\u00a0
\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in innovation management, project support, or a related role, preferably in the ICT sector.
