Facilitate and conduct training programs for Heavy Equipment Repair students at craft level.
\nEquip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in entry-level Heavy Equipment Repair positions.
\nFoster a learning environment that promotes hands-on experience and theoretical understanding.<\/p>\n

\nKey Responsibilities
\nThe holder of this position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.<\/p>\n
Train and deem competent the Heavy Equipment Repair Trainees
\nMaintain oversight of trainees while on site doing their On-The-Job modules
\nDevelop training aids such as manuals and handbooks
\nPresent training programs using recognized training techniques and tools
\nFacilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching
\nDesign and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness
\nCompile training reports on training outcomes
\nProvide feedback on training progress to management
\nEvaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology
\nMaintain student training records
\nEstablish and maintain relationships with external training tools suppliers
\nEnsure good housekeeping in the heavy equipment repair workshop and the immediate surroundings
\nCoordinate off-site training activities for students when necessary
\nKeep current on training design and methodology
\nAny other duties as may be reasonably requested of you by your supervisor, in line with effective operations of the Training Department.<\/p>\n

\nQualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate
\nMinimum Technician Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair Trade
\nMinimum Diploma in Teaching Methodology from a recognised institution
\nMember of EIZ
\nTeveta accredited trainer\/assessor
\nA minimum of 3 years relevant training experience in the mining Industry<\/p>\n
