\nJob Summary<\/p>\n
Facilitate and conduct training programs for electrical students at craft level.
\nEquip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in entry-level electrical positions.
\nFoster a learning environment that promotes hands-on experience and theoretical understanding<\/p>\n

\nKey Responsibilities
\nThis position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.<\/p>\n
Train and deem competent the power electrical trainees
\nMaintain oversight of trainees while on site doing their On-The-Job modules
\nCollaborate with subject matter experts to develop and update training materials.
\nCreate lesson plans, presentations, and practical exercises tailored to craft-level electrical training.
\nDeliver engaging and interactive classroom instruction on electrical theory and principles.
\nDemonstrate practical applications of electrical concepts.
\nFoster a participatory learning environment by encouraging questions and discussions.
\nConduct hands-on practical training sessions for electrical skills development.
\nSupervise and guide students in performing electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.
\nDesign and administer assessments to evaluate student comprehension and skill acquisition.
\nProvide constructive feedback to students and assist in addressing areas of improvement.
\nIncorporate relevant technologies and tools into training sessions to enhance learning.
\nStay updated on industry advancements and integrate new technologies into the curriculum.
\nEmphasize and enforce safety protocols in all electrical training activities.
\nProvide guidance on electrical safety standards and procedures.
\nEnsure good housekeeping in the power electrical workshop and the immediate surroundings
\nMaintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessments.
\nGenerate regular reports on training activities and student progress.
\nStay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in electrical technology.
\nParticipate in continuous professional development to enhance training methodologies.
\nAny other duties as may be reasonably requested of you by your supervisor, in line with effective operations of the Training Department.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate
\nMinimum Technician Certificate in Power Electrical
\nMinimum Diploma in Teaching Methodology from recognised institution
\nMember of EIZ
\nA minimum of 3 years relevant training experience in the mining Industry.
