JOB OPPORTUNITY: PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIES OFFICER

\nDS Solar is seeking to hire a Procurement and Supplies Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate shall be responsible for managing procurement processes, ensuring timely supply of goods and services, and supporting project delivery through efficient sourcing and supplier management.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Manage the procurement of goods, materials, and services in line with company policies\u2022 Prepare and compile tender documents, including specifications, bills of quantities, and evaluation criteria\u2022 Coordinate supplier sourcing, evaluation, and selection\u2022 Monitor project supplies to ensure materials delivered meet required tender specifications and quality standards\u2022 Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites and branches\u2022 Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and inventory reports\u2022 Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers\u2022 Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and regulatory requirements\u2022 Work closely with project, technical, and finance teams to support operations<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\u2022 Diploma or Degree in Procurement & Supply, Purchasing, Logistics, or a related field\u2022 At least 2\u20136 years\u2019 experience in procurement or supply chain management\u2022 Proven experience in preparing tender documents and handling procurement for projects\u2022 Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract administration\u2022 Experience in monitoring supplies to ensure compliance with tender specifications\u2022 Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills\u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, Power point)<\/p>\n
