JOB TITLE: LECTURER III IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (1 POSITION)<br \/>\n3.1. Job Purpose:<br \/>\nResponsible for teaching, consultancy, research and carrying out academic related tasks in the relevant field.<br \/>\n3.2. Main Duties and Responsibilities:<br \/>\nDevelop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams.<br \/>\nCreate and update syllabi in accordance with university guidelines to stay current with developments in the field.<br \/>\nAssess student progress, grade assignments, exams, and academic papers while providing constructive feedback.<br \/>\nConduct original research in the field of expertise and publish findings in academic journals, books, or conference proceedings.<br \/>\nOffer academic advice and mentorship to students.<br \/>\nHold regular office hours for student consultations.<br \/>\nAssist students with career guidance and professional development.<br \/>\nEngage with the broader community through public service, lectures, workshops, and outreach activities.<br \/>\nFoster partnerships with industry, government, and other educational institutions.<br \/>\nOffer consultancy services to the wider community in accordance with the University\u2019s Consultancy Policy.<br \/>\n3.3. Qualifications and Experience<br \/>\nGrade 12 School Certificate with at least five credits including English.<br \/>\nAn earned Bachelor of Human Resource Management with at least a credit.<br \/>\nAn earned Master of Human Resource Management.<br \/>\nA qualification in Teaching Methodology qualification.<br \/>\nTeaching\/research experience in a higher education or research institution will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nComputer literate.<br \/>\nMember of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM).<br \/>\n3.4. Key Competencies and Attributes<br \/>\nIn-depth knowledge of human resource management.<br \/>\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br \/>\nExcellent interpersonal and networking abilities, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.<br \/>\nExcellent written and verbal\u00a0\u00a0communication skills, with attention to detail.<br \/>\nAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.<br \/>\nInnovative and able to work under minimal supervision.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
