\nLocation:\u00a0Camara Zambia Hub, Lusaka with frequent travel to schools and locations across Zambia as required for activities

Role Overview
\nCamara Zambia\u2019s EdTech Officer will work alongside our team to support the effective planning, implementation, and reporting of training and technical activities in schools.\u00a0With the required knowledge, skills and experience from both an educational and technical perspective, the EdTech officer will support the delivery of projects to ensure the best possible outcomes for beneficiaries. The EdTech Officer will be engaged in (1) Planning and delivery of ICT training programs for teachers and school leaders\u00a0(2) Ensuring collection of data and activity feedback in line with our MEAL Framework\u00a0(3) Completing high quality reports on projects (4) Working closely with management to ensure Camara\u2019s education initiatives are in line with Government policies and frameworks, and (5) Supporting the technical activities of the hub when required.
\nResponsibilities
\n1. Training Delivery & Capacity Building<\/p>\n
Plan and deliver training in line with Camara Training Framework
\nTrain teachers and school leaders on ICT integration in education
\nIdentify school training needs and recommend appropriate programs
\nDevelop and deliver new training content (e.g., AI-focused learning)<\/p>\n
2. Educational Technology Implementation and Technical Support<\/p>\n
Vet, Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks for schools
\nAssist with school quotations and technical planning
\nTroubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site support for teachers
\nReview and implement digital learning tools in local school contexts
\nAssist in development and piloting of Camara\u2019s digital learning platforms<\/p>\n
3. Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n
Develop and enhance relationships with the Ministry of Education Zambia and school leadership
\nPromote Camara\u2019s organisational vision and adoption of EdTech solutions for the education sector in Zambia
\nCollaborate with Camara\u2019s internal teams in other countries (e.g., training, product development, education teams)<\/p>\n
4. Planning, Reporting & Administration<\/p>\n
Plan and implement all training activities for Camara Zambia
\nPrepare training reports after each activity
\nContribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual plans
\nMaintain training schedules and ensure school inclusion
\nManage activity budgets and retirements<\/p>\n
5.Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting:<\/p>\n
Conduct M&E activities for Camara Zambia, including survey preparation, completion of school visits, review and analysis of the collected data, and reporting in Line with Camara\u2019s MEAL Framework.
\nMonitor and analyse information and data around equipment usage in schools and its impact on students\u00a0to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
\nContribute towards the tracking and reporting of Camara Zambia\u2019s monthly and annual KPIs.
\nContribute towards monthly, quarterly, and annual impact reporting.<\/p>\n
General:<\/p>\n
Assist and support other Camara staff with various elements of operational activity, such as vetting, sales, technical support, and marketing when required.
\nContribute towards the planning and application for project funding and donor reporting.
\nEnsure that all administrative reporting is recorded with accuracy.
\nPromote a positive relationship with schools, organisations and all stakeholders to Camara operations;
\nAct with integrity and uphold the Camara standards of transparency and accountability at all times
\nPromote the Camara brand at all appropriate opportunities.<\/p>\n

Job requirements:
\nDegree in ICT or Education with Professional ICT Qualification (Essential)
\nMinimum of 2 years\u2019 experience working in ICT, Education and Training
\nDemonstrated experience engaging with and developing relationships with the Ministry of General Education, Donors and Key Stakeholders
\nGood knowledge and understanding of a range of technologies to support learning and teaching including experience in the development and design of e-learning platforms
\nAbility to quickly learn new technologies and evaluate their potential in terms of application to learning and teaching, particularly Ai
\nExcellent communication and reporting skills- both written and verbal
\nDemonstrated knowledge and experience of planning, collating and analysing data and information for\u00a0 M&E and reporting
\nProficient in the installation, use, and maintenance of ICT Hardware and Software
\nCommitment to values and ethos of Camara Education
\nExperience of utilising AI in education would be an advantage.<\/p>\n
