{"id":7876,"date":"2026-03-26T12:00:29","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T12:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/sales-coordinator-at-topfloor\/"},"modified":"2026-03-26T12:00:37","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T12:00:37","slug":"sales-coordinator-at-topfloor","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/sales-coordinator-at-topfloor\/","title":{"rendered":"Sales Coordinator at TopFloor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Description<\/p>\n<p>Our client, a globally recognized leader in electro-electronic equipment, focusing on electric motors, drives, automation, renewable energy, and power transmission, is looking for a proactive Sales Coordinator to lead Office-Based Business Development coordination efforts and serve as the primary contact for all customer inquiries from countries across the Central Africa region.<br \/>\nDuties and Responsibilities<br \/>\nBusiness Start-up Consulting<\/p>\n<p>Coordinate enquiries received for, branches and business partners in the Central Africa region.<br \/>\nProcess purchase orders, sales orders, issue delivery notes and ensure that goods are invoiced once POD has been received.<br \/>\nBe aware and create awareness of the company products<br \/>\nSupport all products and departments.<br \/>\nInteract \/ Liaise with Logistics Department; Departments; Commercial \/ Financial; Aftersales \/ Factory; Group Companies<br \/>\nMust have a clear understanding of regulatory requirements in imports and exports.<br \/>\nPrepare written quotations, including cost calculations, data sheets and drawings.<br \/>\nEnsure timeous submission of quotations to customers and follow up independently or in liaison with responsible representative.<br \/>\nPass all documentation relating to special products (motors) ex-factory to the projects department for further processing.<br \/>\nUnder general supervision, perform a variety of internal sales and administrative support duties.<\/p>\n<p>Telephone Sales:<\/p>\n<p>Perform telephone sales and follow ups with clients.<br \/>\nAssist customers with price \/ availability enquiries, check stock (physical count if necessary).<br \/>\nLiaise with suppliers in terms of pricing \/ delivery lead times for modifications \/ rewinds etc. and be responsible for all associated documentation and follow up until supply and invoicing to customer.<br \/>\nEnsure that the customer\u2019s credit facilities are approved and assist in resolving and payment queries.<br \/>\nEvery effort must be made to provide the product or service required by the customer and alternatives must be offered whenever applicable.<br \/>\nProvide telephonic technical support for customers and business partners in Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Export Enquiries \/ Sales:<\/p>\n<p>Respond to requests for quotations and communicate \/ forward all relevant documentation relating to orders for export with the export \/ shipping departments.<br \/>\nUnderstand export requirements for customers within Africa. (i.e. freight and pricing structures)<br \/>\nMonitor stock levels in the bond store.<br \/>\nIssue internal workshop guidance for orders requiring modifications.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Degree in Business Administration or Operations Management; Masters is an added advantage.<br \/>\nComputer literacy \u2013 good computer knowledge on Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook<br \/>\nMust have proven experience using a recognised ERP system to manage workflows, preferably SAP,<br \/>\n3 years\u2019 experience in a similar position, preferably in a multinational organisation.<br \/>\nValid driver\u2019s license.<br \/>\nAbility to read, write, speak and understand French is an added advantage.<br \/>\nExcellent people, communication and organisational skills.<br \/>\nA keen sense of urgency and a willingness to learn additional job-related skills.<br \/>\nAbility to provide excellent customer service to internal and external teams<br \/>\nMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.<br \/>\nMust have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
