\nJob Purpose
\nThe Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n
Planning and scheming of work as well preparing lessons within the prescribed syllabus.
\nEfficiently undertaking preparation of schemes of work in order to facilitate delivery of teaching programs.
\nEffectively undertaking the provisions of teaching\/learning materials in order to enhance imparting of knowledge.
\nEffectively undertaking teaching of subject lessons in order to impart knowledge and skills.
\nTimely preparation of teaching records in order to assess coverage of the syllabus.
\nInvigilating and marking of tests in order to monitor and evaluate performance of pupils.
\nEffectively supervising the pupils in classroom in order to enhance learning environment.
\nWriting records and reports on work covered.
\nSecuring teaching and learning materials in the school.
\nLiaising with fellow teachers on work schedule
\nMaking projection and reviewing of the term\u2019s work.
\nPromoting Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) in school.
\nFacilitating learning activities in school.
\nEnsuring safety of learners by guarding them within school premises.
\nGuiding learners towards their achievement of educational goals.
\nDesigning and performing practical experiments.
\nAdhering to all assignments that are lawful.
\nPreparing candidates for National (ECZ) examinations.<\/p>\n
To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate.
\nDiploma in Secondary School Education (Design and Technology).
\nMust be registered with Teaching Council of Zambia.
\nStrong research background.
\nProficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
\nAll academic and professional qualifications should be verified and certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority.
\nGood written and oral Communication Skills.
\nPresentation Skills.
\nComputer Skills i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
\nMust have high Ethical Standards.
\nAt least 3 years\u2019 experience in the Teaching profession.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.2
