Job Description
\nResponsible for end-to-end oversight of TowerCo network operations, ensuring high availability, proactive monitoring, and stringent operational compliance across the tower infrastructure.
\nThe role provides advanced surveillance, incident leadership, root cause analysis, performance analytics, and operational governance to guarantee service excellence for MNOs and enterprise customers. The position ensures TowerCo assets perform optimally, SLAs are met, and operational risks are identified and mitigated.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nRisk Management<\/p>\n
Ensures all network risk areas are identified from Incidentreports analysed
\nManaged Service provider SLA Management and engagement
\nEnd to end Crisis management with root cause reports derivedand recommendations made Lead the identification of all Network and Operationalrisk areas
\nDevelop and enforce risk management activities and Processes
\nDetect abnormal patterns (fuel theft, battery degradation,excessive generator runtime) and initiate mitigation actions.
\nManage all service provider SLAs and other engagements (ISP,Managed Services, MNOs, etc)<\/p>\n
Analysis<\/p>\n
Ensure and support all first level analysis and escalationof rising trends, repetitive incidents and\/or early warning alarms<\/p>\n
Governance, Reporting & Analytics<\/p>\n
Produce high quality operational reports (SLA performance,site availability, MTTR, MTBF, incident trends).
\nMaintain accurate incident documentation and surveillancedashboards.
\nLead operational audits and service quality reviews withinternal and external stakeholders (MNO partners, vendors, O&M partners).<\/p>\n
Network Audits<\/p>\n
Carry out quarterly physical auditing of towerinfrastructure operations and make recommendations<\/p>\n
Change, Configuration & Process Control<\/p>\n
Ensure adherence to change management policies for alltower\/site modifications.
\nValidate RFT (Ready for Test) and RFS (Ready for Service)checks after significant changes.
\nMaintain configuration accuracy of monitored assets withinmonitoring tools<\/p>\n
Tools Support<\/p>\n
Ensure all operational tool requirements are fully supported\u2013 Availability, Functionality<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or arelated field
\nValid Driver\u2019s License
\nMember of EIZ with a valid Practicing Certificate<\/p>\n
Key Competencies and Skills<\/p>\n
Strong background in surveillance,operational assurance, or network operations
\nExperience with energy and siteinfrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., RMS & NMS)
\nExperienced in developing andleading operation teams within a network context
\nProven involvement in incidentmanagement and SLA governance.
\nFamiliarity with towerinfrastructure: power systems, hybrid\/solar systems, security systems,transmission, and cooling.
\nBroad knowledge of best practicestandards and processes
\nFully proficient with operationprocesses and SLAs development
\nAble to work effectively at alllevels in an organisation
\nAbility to carry out E2Emanagement of trouble tickets
\nMust be a team leader and able towork collaboratively with and through others
\nAbility to establish and maintainstrong relationships
\nExceptional communication skills \u2013both written and verbal
\nProficient with MS reporting tools\u2013\u00a0 PPT and Word
\nSolid RCA and problem-solvingmethodology.
\nUnderstanding of ITIL processes(Incident, Change, Problem Management).
\nIntermediate proficiency in dataanalysis tools, and reporting dashboards e.g. Excel
\nProficiency in NMS\/EMS\/RMSmonitoring platforms.
\nStrong understanding of telecompower systems (DGs, rectifiers, battery banks, hybrids).
\nKnowledge of passiveinfrastructure standards and site operations.
\nAbility to analyse KPIs andgenerate insights.
\nStrong analytical and diagnosticability.
\nExcellent communication andstakeholder management skills.
\nHigh attention to detail andoperational discipline.
\nLeadership and mentoringcapability.
\nAbility to work under pressure andmanage complex incidents.

Years of Experience Required<\/p>\n
Minimum of 3 years in Telecommunications, preferably inTowerCo or MNO NOC environment<\/p>\n
