\nJob description:
\n\u00a0
\nTo Supervise the installation and repairs of all mining systems on site.
\n\u00a0
\nKey Responsibilities
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Understand shift priorities and direct the team as needed.
\nSupervise Technicians and make available all spares and equipment needed for their work
\nTo assist in the implementation of the safety system and procedures required by the Zambian mines regulations and Act.
\nOversee management of all Radio repeater stations on site \u2013 as well as installation, programming and repairing of all user equipment on site
\nAddress technical issues on the equipment and carry daily inspections to a high standard to ensure defects are identified prior to failure;
\nEnsure all technicians follow safety regulations as guided by the Mine Safety department prior to commencing any work.
\nProvide technical advice and guidance to technicians on all repairs, maintenance and Installation
\nAbility to use Root- cause analysis tools in investigating breakdowns and sub-standard performance of equipment.
\nPrepare a shift reports
\nAny lawful and reasonable task assigned to by Management<\/p>\n

\nQualifications & Experience:
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Minimum of a Grade twelve (Grade 12) School Certificate
\nDiploma in Computer Engineering\/ Computer Science or Equivalent.
\nZAQA Certification
\nA minimum of 5 years\u2019 relevant experience in communication systems 2 of which should be in supervisory role
\nMust be computer literate
\nValid driver\u2019s Licence
\nExposure to DSSI \/ Brigade \/ Rajant \/ Mesh network will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
