The role serves as the principal legal adviser to the Board and Executive Management, ensuring full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Banking and Financial Services Corporate Governance Directives.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Advise the Board, Board Committees, and Executive Management on legal, regulatory, and governance matters.<br \/>\nOversee corporate governance practices and act as Company Secretary.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with the Companies Act, Banking and Financial Services Act, and Bank of Zambia Directives.<br \/>\nManage litigation, disputes, and recovery-related legal matters.<br \/>\nDraft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal instruments.<br \/>\nLiaise with regulators and external legal counsel.<br \/>\nDevelop and implement legal policies, procedures, and controls.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor of Laws (LLB).<br \/>\nAdmission to the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ).<br \/>\nMinimum of 8\u201310 years post-qualification experience, preferably within banking or financial services.<br \/>\nStrong experience in corporate governance and Board advisory roles.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
