\nOur Successful Conference & Banquets Coordinator \u2026<\/p>\n
manage all tasks of customer service, including meetings with guests, site visits, discussions of options, managing compliments and complaints, maintaining the client database
\nensure excellent levels of innovation are maintained when researching trends and new business opportunities in events
\nfulfil all operational requirements and maintain effective communications with all stakeholders when staging an event
\nmanage d\u00e9cor, stages, sound, visuals and stages proactively, ensuring good working order in preparation for events
\nkeep close control and take accountability for the financial management of events, the budgets, deposits, payments, refunds and returns
\nwork as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standard<\/p>\n

\nQualifications & Experiences<\/p>\n
Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate or equivalent
\nMust have at least a Diploma in Hospitality Management or its equivalent from a highly reputable institution of learning
\nMust have a minimum of five (05) years of conference & Banquets experience in a 4 or 5 star Hotel
\nKnowledge of all Food and Beverage and Conference requirements and standards
\nKnowledge of Information Systems e.g., P.O.S., Micros, Opera
\nHave superior knowledge of conference facilities and services
\nGood knowledge operational standards regarding guests requirements and outdoor functions
\nKnow and apply sound up-selling techniques and principles<\/p>\n
