10.0 BUSINESS ANALYST \u2013 SALARY GRADE ZRA06 (1 POSITIONS), INNOVATION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT FUNCTION (1 POSITION)
\nA. PURPOSEReporting directly to the Senior Business Analyst, the job holder will be responsible for bridging the gap between the development team and the business users by helping in evaluating business processes, analysing business requirements from users, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

B. MAIN DUTIES\/ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/p>\n
Assisting in streamlining and successfully implementing functional solutions according to user specifications.
\nWorking closely with the end users in crafting requirements that do not restrain the ability of designers or developers to innovate.
\nWorking with business teams to ensure that practical solutions are appropriately tested in line with the user requirements.
\nSupporting the implementation of solutions from conception till initiation by providing information, managing stakeholders and engaging in all the key business analysis tasks that need to be completed to implement the solution.
\nPerforming mapping of processes, offices and roles for various projects.
\nClosely working with the research and innovation team to identify and recommend enhancements and new requirements to various systems within the authority.
\nGathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports for possible implementation.
\nAssisting the end users in gathering and interpreting of user requirements
\nEnsuring that proposed test solutions cover all aspects of delivered business specification.
\nAssisting with user acceptance testing.
\nPrioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
\nServing as a liaison between various stakeholders and end users.
\nPracticing and implementing risk management in area of operation.<\/p>\n
C. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
Grade 12 School Certificate or General Certificate of Education (GCE) equivalent with five credits or better including Mathematics and English;
\nUniversity Degree with a bias in Business Administration, accountancy, Project Management, Information Systems, Economics, ACCA, CIMA, CA, Zambia, ZICA and other relevant professional and academic qualifications;
\nMinimum of Two (2) years relevant post qualifying work experience; and
\nMust possess Academic and Professional qualifications certified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority.<\/p>\n
