\nJob Purpose
\nThe Store Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, leading a team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Other duties will include overseeing employees and finances, and controlling the quality of products and services. Overseeing salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees. Managing finances and preparing an annual budget. Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage. To ensure success as a Store Supervisor, you should exhibit demonstrable managerial competency, and excellent\u00a0\u00a0communication skills.

\nSummary of Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Keeping records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance.
\nEvaluating the supply and availability of stocks, and profit-margins.
\nManage daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
\nLead, motivate, and develop the store team to achieve targets and performance goals.
\nMonitor sales performance, inventory levels, and operational budgets.
\nMaintain high standards of customer service and store presentation.
\nImplement company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
\nBuild strong relationships with customers and the local community.
\nSupervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers
\nAssign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
\nAuthorize payments and the return of merchandise
\nResolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
\nMaintain specified inventory and order merchandise
\nPrepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
\nEnsure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness
\nPerform key holding and managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries.
\nMonitoring shelve stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store.
\nInvestigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers.
\nTraining new staff members and scheduling shifts. And evaluate the job performance of retail staff.<\/p>\n

Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent qualification preferred.
\nMust have a minimum 3+ years retail experience with a minimum of 1 year store leadership experience.
\nProven experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a retail environment \/ Fashion Retail store
\nDemonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar.
\nExtensive experience with preparing budgets, and financial and expense reports.
\nIn-depth knowledge of fashion products and consumer trends, and marketing strategies.
\nExceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
\nCompetency in retail management software.
\nProficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software.
\nFamiliarity with applicable labor laws, and retail health and safety standards.<\/p>\n
