Located in Barlastone Park, Lusaka, BOHCM operates a Children\u2019s Village, a primary and secondary school, a medical clinic, and a community church. We are pleased to be near completion of our Vocational Training College (VTC), which will offer quality, skills-based post-secondary education to empower both our children and the wider community.<br \/>\nWe are now inviting applications for the position of Part-Time Lecturer \u2013 Automotive Mechanics at our Vocational Training College.<br \/>\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering practical, competency-based training that equips learners with hands-on automotive skills and industry-relevant knowledge.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\nTeach Automotive Mechanics in line with the approved VTC syllabus<br \/>\nPlan and deliver effective theory and practical workshop lessons<br \/>\nDemonstrate correct use of automotive tools, equipment, and machinery<br \/>\nAssess, record, and report on learners\u2019 progress and competence<br \/>\nEnsure safety, cleanliness, and proper management of the workshop<br \/>\nMentor students in technical skills, work ethics, and employability<br \/>\nParticipate in academic and institutional activities as required<br \/>\nMaintain and repair institution vehicles and mechanical equipment<br \/>\nMinimum Qualifications and Requirements<br \/>\nCraft Certificate in Automotive Mechanics or Higher<br \/>\nValid teaching qualification or proof of pedagogical training<br \/>\nRegistered with TEVETA as an accredited trainer<br \/>\nStrong practical and workshop management skills<br \/>\nAbility to work with minimal supervision<br \/>\nGood communication and interpersonal skills<br \/>\nMust be a practicing Christian<br \/>\nAdded Advantage<br \/>\nPrior teaching or training experience<br \/>\nExperience handling competency-based practical assessments<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
