Take the lead in deciding how many policies or upgrades should be sold in a given period, then oversee the team\u2019s progress to ensure they meet those goals. Assess the marketing potential of new and existing store locations, considering statistics and expenditures.<\/p>\n<p>Summary of Key Responsibilities;<br \/>\nJob seeker tools<\/p>\n<p>Research and source potential clients and build long-term relationships with them<br \/>\nPersuade prospective clients to engage in a phone conversation and\/or meeting to discuss insurance products<br \/>\nMeets sales financial objectives and developing annual sales quotas for regions where the company operates.<br \/>\nIdentifies sales opportunities and development of new products to meet customer\u2019s needs.<br \/>\nImproves product marketability and profitability<br \/>\nManage agency channel sales for the company. Managing agents, training agents and achieving sales targets for the team.<br \/>\nManage and maintain rapport with key stakeholders.<br \/>\nProtect the organization\u2019s values and reputation on the market<br \/>\nAdvise Key clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs<br \/>\nCustomize insurance programs to suit individual clients<br \/>\nDeliver approved policies to new clients and explain the benefits and risks of the policy<br \/>\nRe-assess the policy needs of existing clients after life-changing events<br \/>\nFill-out and submit applications, issue quotes, maintain client records and prepare reports<br \/>\nKeep abreast of the Insurance industry and market trends and best practices<\/p>\n<p>Required Skills and Competencies;<\/p>\n<p>Excellent communication and presentation skills<br \/>\nResilient spirit and a persistent nature<br \/>\nImpeccable interpersonal skills and a friendly attitude<br \/>\nWell organized with time great management abilities<br \/>\nGood Leadership Skills<br \/>\nExcellent Networking Skills<br \/>\nSober Character<br \/>\nHonest<br \/>\nExcellent Interpersonal Skills<\/p>\n<p>Primary Areas of Accountability:<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n<p>Degree in Insurance, Pensions, Sales or Any Commercial Field<br \/>\nAt least a\u00a0minimum of 5-7 year\u2019s\u00a0experience in\u00a0Sales and Marketing or Operations in the insurance sector at a similar or senior level.<br \/>\nMust have professional qualification in Insurance such as\u00a0ACII\/AIISA Diploma or IMM Diploma<br \/>\nGeneral Insurance Sales experience will be a plus<br \/>\nMust be well vested with\u00a0the current Zambian Sales Trends in the Insurance sector<br \/>\nMust be a member of a relevant professional body (ZIM or IIA)<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
