That\u2019s how we continue to achieve extraordinary things in extraordinary locations.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nJob description:<br \/>\nJob Summary<br \/>\nWe are seeking to appoint a graduate who will assist in providing support to the Occupational Health &amp; Safety Department for a period of one year. This role will report directly to the Assistant Manager \u2013 HSE Training and assist the team in implementing health and safety programs aimed at reducing injuries and illnesses within the mine environment. The successful candidate will be expected to have graduated with a degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent and must have had relevant work experience in this field.<br \/>\nJob Responsibilities<br \/>\n\u2022 Participating in incident investigations, identification of root causes, and implementation of corrective actions.<br \/>\n\u2022 Conducting audits as per departmental procedures.<br \/>\n\u2022 Implementing health and safety training interventions as per the departmental calendar.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintaining records such as inspection reports, medical surveillance records, and training records as per departmental requirements.<br \/>\n\u2022 Liaising with external service providers on matters relating to occupational health and safety.<br \/>\n\u2022 Compiling and maintaining accurate statistics and records as required by legislation.<br \/>\n\u2022 Attending meetings as required by management.<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience<br \/>\n\u2022 A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.<br \/>\n\u2022 At least two years working experience in an Occupational Health and Safety role.<br \/>\n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbally.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to compile and analyse data and prepare clear concise reports.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.<br \/>\n\u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.<br \/>\n\u2022 Valid driver\u2019s license Class C1.<br \/>\n\u2022 Be flexible to work shifts.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
