KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n1. Inventory Management<\/p>\n
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts and reconcile with system records
\nMonitor inventory levels, valuation, finished goods, and empties
\nTrack batch expiry dates and ensure FIFO principles are strictly followed
\nMonitor Goods in Transit (GIT) daily
\nEnsure all incoming stock procedures are correctly completed, including crate stripping and stock receipt verification
\nMonitor and reconcile stock movements, adjustments, and inter-branch transfers<\/p>\n
2. Stock Takes & Variance Control<\/p>\n
Conduct daily and monthly stock takes
\nInvestigate, analyse, and explain all stock variances<\/p>\n
3. Internal Controls & Process Improvement<\/p>\n
Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
\nCollaborate with Production, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to improve data accuracy and reporting<\/p>\n
4. People Management<\/p>\n
Provide day-to-day supervision of warehouse loaders
\nEnsure disciplinary matters are handled in line with company procedures
\nEnsure staff compliance with SOPs<\/p>\n
5. Administration & Reporting<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and secure warehouse documentation and stock records
\nPrepare and submit:<\/p>\n
Daily Inventory Reconciliation Reports
\nDaily Inventory Status Reports (by batch and expiry)
\nWeekly Warehouse MANCOM Reports with analysis and recommendations<\/p>\n
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate
\nDiploma in Accounting or a related business field
\nMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing or food & beverage environment
\nProficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred)<\/p>\n
