Coordinate and control the mining operations in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
\n\u2022 Conduct sub-surface surveys to identify the characteristics of potential land or mining development sites.
\n\u2022 Provide input in specifying the ground support systems, processes and equipment for safe, economical, and environmentally sound extraction or underground construction activities.
\n\u2022 Implement, and coordinate mining plans and safety programs.
\n\u2022 Experience in Limestone\/Copper Mining, Open-Pit Mining and the cement manufacturing industry to be specific, this will be an added advantage.
\n\u2022 Experience in shift management and blasting management.
\n\u2022 Mining operations management and can work without constant supervision, ensuring all tasks and operations are running.
\nJob Qualifications:
\n\u2022 Bachelors of science in Mining Engineering.
\n\u2022 Minimum of Seven (7) to Ten (10) years relevant work experience in the cement or mining industry.
\n\u2022 Valid practicing license from the Engineering Institute of Zambia.
\n\u2022 Blasting license and First Aid certificatee.<\/p>\n
