\nProject summary

\nCIDRZ is implementing the Controlling HIV Epidemic Project (CHEP) funded by the U.S. Department of State. The goal of CHEP is to improve the health outcomes of Zambians by preventing new infections among populations most at-risk of acquiring HIV and delivery of integrated HIV, Tuberculosis and Maternal, Newborn and Child Health services.
\nCIDRZ seeks applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of Implementation Officer \u2013 Central, Copperbelt, North-Western Provinces.

\nJob Summary:
\nReports to the District Community Health Services and Linkages Coordinator. The incumbent will provide technical support and coordinate the implementation of community HIV testing, including in Drop-in Centres and Market Posts, and linkage to care and treatment services.
\nMain duties<\/p>\n
Oversees the implementation of HIV testing and\u00a0prevention program activities at community\u00a0level
\nCoordinates all community health related activities to ensure comprehensive and quality provision of HIV testing services
\nLeads community hotspot mapping activities for targeted case-finding
\nEnsures\u00a0that\u00a0active referrals and\u00a0linkages are completed within the testing and treatment cascade\u00a0as per neutral status approach for program implementation
\nSupervises HTS Counsellors and Peer Promoters\/Community-Based Volunteers (CBVs).
\nCarries out routine review of all source documents to ensure high quality data is reported
\nCoordinates and collaborates with other partners in the implementation of HIV testing and prevention activities for target populations
\nParticipates in community and health-facility level meetings to review program performance
\nPrepares\u00a0monthly and quarterly reports and submit to the\u00a0District Community Health Services and Linkages Coordinator
\nMonitors service delivery supplies, financial and materials resources of the project at site level
\nEnsures that activity funds are spent and retired in a timely manner according to CIDRZ financial guidelines<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Full Grade 12 Certificate
\nMinimum of a Diploma in Social Work, Development studies or Health-related field
\nMinimum of 2 years\u2019 work experience in a similar position
\nDemonstrated experience working with community structures in public health projects
\nDemonstrated experience in the implementation of community HIV prevention, treatment and care interventions.<\/p>\n
