\nThe purpose of the HSE Coordinator is to promote and implement the BIA HSE policy, Safety culture and HSE system on his perimeter of responsibility.

What will be your responsibilities?<\/p>\n
\u00a0
\n1.General HSE responsibilities &\u00a0 Risk assessment<\/p>\n
Promote occupational health and safety & make sure that the organization is aware of, and complies with, all legislation.
\nHelp supervise the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, study causes and recommend actions.
\nCascade Learning from Incidents, best practices, drive consistency and standardize HSE practices according to BIA\u2019s HSE standards & coordinate emergency procedures, mine rescues, firefighting and first aid crews
\nMaintain and update the hazards identification and risk assessments records.
\nEnsure that the controls in place are coherent, necessary and sufficient.<\/p>\n

\n2.Operational control, certification & training<\/p>\n
Promote JHA for non-routine activities and unsure they are understood and applied.
\nIdentify risks for each step of those non-routine activities.
\nParticipate in SOP & ensure same are done for routine activities & train all personnel on various SOPs.
\nEnsure the execution of weekly inspections & that our equipment are certified according to legislation.
\nMonitor HSE level training topics and matrix & develop and implement training sessions on health and safety practices<\/p>\n

\n3.HSE Performance<\/p>\n
Collect HSE performance
\nMake monthly reports on HSE indicators.<\/p>\n
\u00a0
\n4.Incidents, accidents, non-conformity & 5S methodology<\/p>\n
Report incidents
\nParticipate in investigations following accidents & propose actions.<\/p>\n
\u00a0
\nEnsure implementation of 5S methodology and follow-up:<\/p>\n
The 5S inspection executed by the person responsible per area; & Monthly audits & report<\/p>\n
Who are we looking for?<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Degree in Health, Safety & Environment, NEBOSH Diploma or other related discipline
\nKnowledge of standards ISO 45001 and 14001, lead auditor qualification will be an advantage
\nMinimum of 5 years professional experience
\nSupervisory\/Managerial experience on mining sites for at least 3 years<\/p>\n
