Job Overview
\nWe are seeking a highly responsible, punctual, and experienced Professional Driver to join our team in Lusaka. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods ensuring all journeys are completed strictly within schedule while adhering to all Zambian traffic regulations.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Safely transport of goods to and from specified locations within Lusaka and surrounding areas.
\nAccepting responsibility for the stock, vehicle and equipment entrusted to his care
\nReturn of stock and documentation to the Service Centre for any deliveries not done, pick-ups and stock incorrectly loaded
\nPlan efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals, avoiding heavy traffic zones where possible.
\nPerform routine daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (checking oil, water, tyre pressure, brakes, etc.).
\nMaintain an accurate and up-to-date logbook detailing mileage, fuel consumption, and travel times.
\nEnsure the assigned company vehicle is kept clean and presentable at all times.
\nReport any vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations to management immediately.
\nAdhere strictly to all road safety regulations and traffic laws.
\nDelivery to customers, stores, other Service Centre\u2019s and drop-off points with full and correct documents and stock at all times<\/p>\n

\nMinimum Requirements<\/p>\n

Experience:\u00a0Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience (Non-negotiable).
\nLicense:\u00a0Valid\u00a0Class E (PSV) Driver\u2019s License ONLY.
\nEducation:\u00a0Grade 12 School Certificate, fully accredited by the Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ).
\nDriving Record:\u00a0Clean driving record with no history of major accidents or serious traffic offenses.<\/p>\n

Excellent knowledge of Lusaka\u2019s road networks, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
\nStrong sense of punctuality and time management.
\nProfessional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
\nHigh level of integrity, reliability, and confidentiality.
\nBasic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues is advantageous.<\/p>\n
