\nAs part of our global expansion, we are seeking an International Legal & Business Development Representative based in Zambia or Nigeria.
\nROLE DEFINITION:
\nThis is NOT a legal execution role.
\nThe position does NOT involve:
\n\u2013 handling legal cases
\n\u2013 providing legal representation
\n\u2013 executing legal work
\nThe role is strictly focused on:
\n\u2013 client acquisition
\n\u2013 relationship building
\n\u2013 structuring engagements
\n\u2013 transferring matters to internal legal teams
\nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n\u2013 Identify and attract clients (local and international)
\n\u2013 Build strategic relationships with businesses, investors and professionals
\n\u2013 Understand client needs and structure legal engagements
\n\u2013 Act as primary interface between client and firm
\n\u2013 Transfer matters to relevant internal departments
\n\u2013 Maintain long-term client relationships
\n\u2013 Participate in international business and investment opportunities
\nSCOPE OF ACTIVITY:
\nThe role is NOT geographically limited.
\nThe successful candidate may:
\n\u2013 generate local clients
\n\u2013 generate international clients
\n\u2013 initiate cross-border matters
\nand will operate across ALL firm jurisdictions and offices<\/p>\n

\n\u2013 Business development in professional services
\nA law degree is valuable, but not mandatory
\nBusiness generation ability is mandatory
\nREQUIRED CAPABILITIES:

\n\u2013 Client acquisition experience
\n\u2013 Negotiation skills
\n\u2013 Relationship development
\n\u2714 Financial Understanding:
\n\u2013 Understanding of pricing and value
\n\u2013 Basic financial literacy
\n\u2013 Ability to position legal services commercially
\n\u2714 Technical Skills:
\n\u2013 Advanced Excel
\n\u2013 PowerPoint
\n\u2013 CRM \/ client tracking systems
\n\u2013 Digital communication tools
\n\u2714 International Mindset:
\n\u2013 Ability to operate across jurisdictions
\n\u2013 Comfortable working with international teams
