\nWe are seeking a driven and experienced agricultural professional to join our team as\u00a0CSVC (Crop Science and Value Chain) \/ Agronomy Lead. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader ready to take ownership of production performance, strengthen grower relationships, and contribute to sustainable agricultural growth across both small-scale and commercial farming operations.
\nThis role is ideal for a motivated professional looking to advance their leadership career while making a tangible impact across the agricultural value chain.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Lead delivery of contracted leaf production targets in line with business plans
\nManage integrated production and marketing systems to ensure operational efficiency
\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with growers and key stakeholders
\nSupport and drive sustainability and ESG initiatives across the production value chain
\nOversee departmental resources and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives<\/p>\n
What We\u2019re Looking For:<\/p>\n
Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field
\n5\u201310 years\u2019 experience\u00a0in agriculture or agribusiness, including supervisory or management exposure
\nStrong technical agricultural knowledge (tobacco experience advantageous)
\nProven ability to manage teams, engage stakeholders, and deliver operational results
\nStrong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting systems<\/p>\n
