In this role, you will take full ownership of the country\u2019s performance, leading strategy, sales, and operations while strengthening our market presence across both smallholder and commercial farming segments.<\/p>\n<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n<p>1. Strategic Leadership\u2022 Drive and execute country strategy aligned to business goals.\u2022 Identify growth opportunities, partnerships, and new markets.\u2022 Lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.\u2022 Represent the country in group-level engagements.<br \/>\n2. Commercial &amp; Sales Management\u2022 Deliver revenue, volume, and profitability targets.\u2022 Build and expand strong distribution networks.\u2022 Lead sales execution, key accounts, and trade initiatives.\u2022 Track market trends and adjust strategies proactively.<br \/>\n3. Marketing &amp; Brand Development\u2022 Strengthen brand visibility across all channels.\u2022 Lead farmer engagement, demos, and training programs.\u2022 Support localized campaigns and product promotions.\u2022 Track and measure marketing impact.<\/p>\n<p>4. Operational Excellence\u2022 Oversee supply chain, inventory, and product availability.\u2022 Ensure regulatory compliance and product standards.\u2022 Improve systems, processes, and operational efficiency.<br \/>\n5. Financial Management\u2022 Own and manage country P&amp;L performance.\u2022 Drive cost control and profitability.\u2022 Monitor working capital and financial\u00a0\u00a0health.\u2022 Track KPIs and business performance.<br \/>\n6. People Leadership\u2022 Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.\u2022 Drive a strong performance and accountability culture.\u2022 Mentor talent and support career growth.\u2022 Promote collaboration and clear communication.<br \/>\n7. Stakeholder &amp; Relationship Management\u2022 Manage relationships with government and regulators.\u2022 Build strong ties with distributors, farmers, and partners.\u2022 Represent the company in industry forums and events.\u2022 Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.<br \/>\n8. Compliance &amp; Risk Management\u2022 Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company standards.\u2022 Maintain ISO and policy compliance.\u2022 Identify and mitigate business risks.\u2022 Stay updated on local laws and trade regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Key Qualifications<br \/>\nEducational Qualification\u2022 Master\u2019s degree in business administration (MBA) preferred.\u2022 Minimum requirement: Bachelor\u2019s in Business Administration or Agricultural field.\u2022 Background in Agriculture, Public Health, or Veterinary studies will be an added advantage.\u2022 Full command of English language and high level of proficiency in technology usage.<br \/>\nWork Experience\u2022 Minimum 5 years of experience of heading a commercial function in a large firm.\u2022 Experience in leading a sales function in a company with a distributor sales model.\u2022 Proven track record in Business to business (B2B) sales.\u2022 Experience in managing the profit and loss of a unit with a large team.\u2022 Exposure to working with farmers or distributors in the agri-business sector preferred.\u2022 Knowledge and experience across various African markets will be an added advantage.\u2022 Experience leading and developing large, diverse teams within an organization.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
