\nPosition :\u00a0Electrician
\nReporting to :\u00a0Head of Maintenance
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures around the Camp
\nPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
\nDiagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs.
\nEnsure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
\nRead and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
\nAssist in minimizing downtime by responding promptly to breakdowns
\nConstantly check on the Genset, electric fence, geysers, radios and other electric installations, ensuring they are in working order
\n\u2022 Perform daily duties and follow up on maintenance work as instructed by the Head of Maintenance.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
Full grade 12 certificate
\nCraft Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
\nMinimum of 2\u20133 years relevant work experience
\nStrong knowledge of electrical systems
\nAbility to read and interpret electrical diagrams
\nMember of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) .<\/p>\n
