\nJob Purpose
\nThe Automotive Technical Trainer will deliver high quality training for technicians, apprentices, and service advisors across our network. This role plays a key part in building technical capability, ensuring service excellence, and supporting manufacturer aligned training programs.

\nSummary of Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Perform a comprehensive Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to accurately identify skill and knowledge gaps across Technicians, Foremen, and Service Advisors.
\nDeliver training and certification programs for Service Advisors, front office staff, technicians, and apprentices.
\nConduct on the job training (OJT), evaluations, and competency assessments.
\nDesign and develop engaging and technically accurate training modules and materials based directly on the results of the TNA.
\nPrepare, execute, and monitor detailed training plans that are strategically aligned with the company\u2019s objectives and overall business targets.
\nFacilitate and deliver technical training sessions for Service Technicians and other dealer After Sales Support Personnel.
\nProvide expert on-site\/in-dealer coaching, mentoring, and practical, real-time guidance, focusing specifically on advanced vehicle diagnosing and troubleshooting techniques.
\nManage all aspects of training logistics, including the timely preparation and distribution of necessary training materials, tools, and technical resources to ensure successful delivery.
\nCoordinate and collaborate with the After-Sales Technical Department to track and improve Dealer Technical Performance and ensure technical training effectiveness.
\nPrepare training reports and recommend improvements for staff development.<\/p>\n

Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
\nDegree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering is preferred
\nManufacturer instructor and technical certifications.
\nMinimum 5 years relevant experience, including at least 2 years as an instructor or on the job trainer in a technically complex environment.
\nWork experience in an automotive distributorship is an advantage
\nMust possess advanced vehicle diagnosing skills
\nKnowledgeable on new vehicle technology (Experience working on EV, PHEV, and Hybrid vehicles is an advantage)<\/p>\n
