\nJob Purpose
\nThe Stores Sales Assistant (or Clothing Sales Assistant) will be responsible for managing in-store sales, promotions, and marketing of clothes, shoes, and fashion accessories; assisting customers with their buying decisions; and assisting the Store Supervisor with the day-to-day operations of a clothing store. Organize and maintain window displays; set up and maintain display areas and units; and welcome customers and engage with them to understand their needs and assist with their purchases. Other duties will include handling returns, conducting stock-takes, labeling and pricing items, processing incoming and outgoing merchandise, and keeping the shop floor and fitting rooms clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.<\/p>\n
Summary of Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Greet customers who enter the shop.
\nBe involved in stock control and management.
\nAssisting shoppers in finding the goods and products they are looking for.
\nReporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
\nGiving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
\nDealing with customer complaints and suggesting solutions.
\nWorking within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
\nAttaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
\nResponsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards, etc.
\nReceiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock
\nKeeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
\nOrganizing merchandise on the shop floor
\nSelling clothing and processing payments at checkout
\nMaintaining the store and the assigned section in a clean and tidy condition
\nWork with Store Supervisor in carrying out stocktaking duties
\nPerforming store opening and closing operations<\/p>\n

Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
An advanced certificate or Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification preferred.
\nMust have a\u00a0minimum of 3+ years of sales experience in retail clothing with a multi-brand clothing store
\nProven floor sales and marketing experience in a retail store
\nSound knowledge of trending fashion products, consumer trends, and marketing strategies.
\nExceptional customer service and complaint management skills
\nProficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software.
\nFamiliarity with different age fashion trends is a must.
\nPreferably based in respective location of application with own accommodation<\/p>\n
