Northern Rock Hotel has an exciting opportunity for two kitchen members to join the team based in Mpika, Muchinga Province. We pride ourselves in giving all our customer\u2019s unbeatable value and a quality experience. Our prospective chefs should be passionate about their area of expertise. As a chef you would be responsible for preparing meals and snacks for \u00e0 la carte, conferences or catering events for our customers and clients.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities
\n\u2022 Prepare and present high-quality dishes with attention to detail, ensuring attractive presentation and correct temperature\u2022 Manage kitchen inventory and ensure efficient stock control to minimize wastage\u2022 Maintain consistency by adhering to recipes and standard procedures\u2022 Maintain full knowledge of menu items and deliver dishes that meet established standards\u2022 More to be shared at a later stage<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience
\n\u2022 Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate or General Certificate of\u00a0\u00a0Education\u00a0(GCE) Equivalent\u2022 Relevant qualification in Culinary Arts or a related field from a recognized institution\u2022 At least 3 years of professional experience in the food industry, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations\u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills\u2022 A passion for food and culinary creativity, combined with a desire to continuously learn and grow in the industry\u2022 Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
