\nReporting to the Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Company\u2019s regulatory and compliance strategy, with a focus on effective risk management, regulatory engagement, and adherence to legal requirements.\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nYour duties will include but are not limited to the following:<\/p>\n
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Company\u2019s compliance framework across operations.
\nEnsure compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements, including those relating to mining, environmental management, labor, and health and safety.
\nEnsure that internal controls are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
\nContribute to the implementation of frameworks covering areas such as anti-bribery and corruption, financial crime, data protection, and broader corporate governance.
\nAssist in coordinating regulatory submissions, filings, and responses to inquiries.
\nSupport regulatory audits, inspections, and reviews, ensuring the Company is well-prepared and responsive
\nPrepare regular compliance reports for management, highlighting key risks, trends, and areas requiring attention.
\nMaintain accurate records of licenses, permits, filings, and compliance-related documentation.
\nTrack and report on remediation actions and compliance performance metrics.
\nAssisting with the planning, setup, and execution of complex and critical lifts
\nImmediately reporting equipment defects, hazards, or unsafe conditions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following:<\/p>\n
Full Grade 12 School Certificate
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in law, Business Administration, Mining Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications in compliance, risk, or governance will be an added advantage.
\nMinimum of 5years\u2019 experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, audit, or risk management, preferably within the mining, energy, or related sectors.
\nStrong understanding of Zambian mining laws, environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and other relevant legal frameworks.
\nExperience supporting regulatory audits, inspections, or Government engagements.
\nStrong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.<\/p>\n
