\nApplications are invited from qualified, experienced, and skilled candidates to fill the position of Merchant Acquisition Officer.
\nThis role is responsible for providing back-office support to the Point of Sale (POS) on-boarding team and to implement card acquiring solutions for the banks Merchants.<\/p>\n
The role is further responsible for Merchant Acquiring and after-sale support of the Digital Banking products.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Support business units to achieve 100% of customer usage and acquisitions target for POS
\nProvide training for digital products
\nResolve POS merchant queries quickly and efficiently
\nProvide ad-hoc reports for acquisition, usage, and other relevant data
\nManage and maintain POS merchant relationships
\nProvide support for product development, testing, and deployment
\nEnsure customer files and queries are resolved within agreed Service Level Agreement.
\nCo-ordination of customer requests in collaboration with Relationship Managers
\nUnderstand and manage risks and risk events (incidents) relevant to the role
\nEnsure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements<\/p>\n

Technical Skills & Competence:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business, Social\u00a0\u00a0Sciences, Computer\u00a0\u00a0Science, or related fields.
\nA Project related qualification will be an added advantage
\nMust have a clear understanding of the current National Financial Switch\/VISA\/Master Card guidelines and rules.
\nAt least 2 years Banking Experience
\nMust have a clear understanding of current Banking Rules and Regulations
\nIn-depth understanding of Lending policies and frameworks.
\nDetailed knowledge of the Banking and Financial Services Act and other regulations governing commercial bank lending activities.<\/p>\n
Critical Skills:<\/p>\n
Good verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
\nGood interpersonal relationship skills.
\nProficient in relevant computer applications and Android applications
\nProficient in customer service principles and practice
\nProficient understanding of IT
\nStrong stakeholder relationship management experience
\nKeen interest in digital financial trends and developments
\nProactive, quick learner and self-starter
\nTeam player
\nAbility to work under pressure and be able to meet deadlines
\nOpen to flexible working hours
\nInnovative, Analytical and with strong judgement<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Requirements:<\/p>\n
