Housekeepers Trainees

Job Purpose:
\nThe Housekeepers Trainees will be responsible for providing professional household cleaning and basic home care services to clients. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, orderliness, and comfort in homes while delivering excellent customer service.

\nTraining Programme Details:<\/p>\n
This position is offered under a structured trainee programme.<\/p>\n
A training fee of K5,000 is applicable.<\/p>\n
The training fee will not be paid upfront, but will be deducted in manageable monthly instalments once the candidate starts working.<\/p>\n
Upon successful completion of the training programme, candidates are offered guaranteed job placement.<\/p>\n
Successful candidates will earn a monthly salary of K3,000 after placement.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Cleaning Duties<\/p>\n
Clean and sanitize all areas of assigned homes<\/p>\n
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish, and disinfect surfaces.<\/p>\n
Wash dishes, clean appliances, and maintain kitchen hygiene.<\/p>\n
Make beds, change linen, and organize rooms.<\/p>\n
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.<\/p>\n
Laundry & Ironing<\/p>\n
Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes, linen, and household fabrics.<\/p>\n
Sort laundry according to fabric type and washing requirements.<\/p>\n
Handle delicate garments with care.<\/p>\n
Household Support<\/p>\n
Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages.<\/p>\n
Assist with basic household organization and tidying.<\/p>\n
Report maintenance issues or damages noticed within the home.<\/p>\n
Transportation & Mobility<\/p>\n
Drive to assigned locations when required.<\/p>\n
Safely transport cleaning materials or equipment where necessary.<\/p>\n
Ensure assigned vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy if provided.<\/p>\n
Safety & Compliance<\/p>\n
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.<\/p>\n
Follow company hygiene, health, and safety procedures.<\/p>\n
Wear required uniform or protective clothing.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirements:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate.<\/p>\n
Valid Driver\u2019s Licence (advantage)<\/p>\n
Valid Passport (advantage)<\/p>\n
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Ability to read and follow instructions.<\/p>\n
