As a Guide Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through immersive safari activities, conservation leadership, and authentic storytelling.<\/p>\n
Job Description<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Supervise\u00a0and guide daily safari activities, including game drives, walking safaris, and river excursions.
\nShare expert knowledge of local wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation efforts with guests.
\nEnsure the highest standards of guest safety, comfort, and engagement at all times.
\nMentor, train, and support junior rangers and trackers.
\nContribute to conservation and sustainability initiatives within Kafue National Park.
\nMaintain equipment, vehicles, and compliance with safety and park regulations.
\nRepresent Anantara with professionalism, passion, and warmth in every guest interaction.
\nConduct wildlife research and monitoring activities to support conservation efforts.
\nDevelop and implement innovative interpretive programmes to enhance guest education and engagement.
\nCollaborate with local communities to promote sustainable tourism and conservation awareness.
\nAssist in the development and implementation of anti-poaching strategies.
\nMaintain detailed records of wildlife sightings, behaviour, and environmental changes.
\nParticipate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry best practices and conservation techniques.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n
\u00a0Education:<\/p>\n
Relevant Diploma\/Degree.
\nMinimum 3 \u2013\u00a05 years\u2019 guiding experience in a Big Five or comparable wilderness environment.
\nRegistration with the Zambian Department of National Parks and Wildlife (DNPW) advantageous
\nRelevant licenses and certifications required for the role
\nValid first aid certification.
\nStrong leadership skills and previous experience mentoring junior rangers.
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities with an engaging guest-focused approach.
\nDeep passion for conservation, wildlife, and the guest safari experience.
\nPreference will be given to candidates with knowledge of the Kafue ecosystem and river-based guiding experience.<\/p>\n
