\nWorking in Zambia since 1996, Plan International Zambia\u2019s development and humanitarian programmes focus primarily on Inclusive Quality\u00a0\u00a0Education, Skills and Opportunities for Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship, Reproductive Health and Rights, Early Childhood Development and Gender Responsive Child Protection. Child protection is key in all that we do. Plan International Zambia has Programme Areas (PAs) in; Central, Luapula, and Eastern Provinces including in Lusaka, where the Country Office is located.

\nThe purpose of Program Development Facilitator is to coordinate planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities under the Early Childhood Development (ECD) project: Realizing Full Potential \u2013 secure strong foundation for young children in the assigned district (Mwansabombwe).

\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Mobilizing communities and facilitating\u00a0on Plan thematic areas and interventions being promoted under the Early Childhood Development (ECD) project: Realizing Full Potential \u2013 secure strong foundation for young children in the assigned district.
\nFacilitating\u00a0project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation in the assigned area of operation.
\nFacilitating effective participation of young people, community members and stakeholders in project activities.
\nMonitoring of project activities, data collection and entry.
\nCapturing and documentation of success stories and best practices.
\nCommunity orientation on Safeguarding Children & Young People policy and reporting and responding guidelines.
\nServe as a point person at community\/village level in any partner managed events to maximize Plan\u2019s visibility, including participation in community meetings.<\/p>\n

Diploma in Social Work, Development Studies, Natural resources management
\n2 years relevant work experience in similar environment
\nExperience in developing and implementing influencing and campaign strategies
\nExperience in strategic public engagement and mobilization.
\nDemonstrated and considerable experience of working with international media, communications or public relations roles
\nA good record of achieving results and strategic impact for teams to deliver
\nDemonstrated experience of the key responsibilities, including working with media and creating networks<\/p>\n
