The internship is designed for recent graduates or final year students pursuing a qualification in Human Resource Management and are eager to gain practical experience in HR operations within a dynamic environment. The intern will assist the TopFloor team in various HR functions including but not limited to recruitment, employee onboarding, payroll support and compliance tracking while developing essential HR skills and knowledge.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\nEssence of HR &amp; Labour Law Cornerstones<\/p>\n<p>Assist in research and documentation of Zambian labour laws and HR best practices<br \/>\nSupport compliance audits and policy reviews for clients<\/p>\n<p>Strategic Human Resource Planning<\/p>\n<p>Participate in workforce planning sessions and talent mapping exercises<br \/>\nAssist in drafting HR strategy documents and organizational charts<\/p>\n<p>Payroll Support<\/p>\n<p>Shadow payroll processing activities and learn statutory deduction calculations<br \/>\nHelp prepare payroll summaries and reconcile employee records<\/p>\n<p>Contract Management<\/p>\n<p>Draft and review employment contracts under supervision<br \/>\nMaintain contract tracking systems and support renewal processes<\/p>\n<p>Health &amp; Safety Compliance<\/p>\n<p>Assist in compiling health and safety checklists and compliance reports<br \/>\nSupport awareness campaigns and training logistics<\/p>\n<p>Statutory Compliance (Registrations &amp; Returns)<\/p>\n<p>Learn about NAPSA, NHIMA, ZRA, and PACRA requirements<br \/>\nSupport the preparation and submission of statutory returns<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment &amp; Selection<\/p>\n<p>Draft job adverts, screen CVs, and schedule interviews<br \/>\nParticipate in interview panels and candidate assessments<\/p>\n<p>Training &amp; Development<\/p>\n<p>Assist in planning and coordinating training sessions<br \/>\nCapture feedback and help evaluate training effectiveness<\/p>\n<p>Team Building &amp; Culture Initiatives<\/p>\n<p>Support the design and facilitation of team-building activities<br \/>\nDocument outcomes and contribute to post-event reports<\/p>\n<p>Exit Interviews &amp; Offboarding<\/p>\n<p>Help schedule and document exit interviews<br \/>\nSupport the offboarding checklist process and knowledge transfer tracking<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resource Management.<br \/>\nStudent Membership with Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management\u00a0(ZIHRM) is an added advantage<br \/>\nStrong interest in Human Capital and willingness to learn and gain hands-on experience.<br \/>\nBasic knowledge of HR principles and labour laws is an advantage.<br \/>\nGood communication skills, both written and verbal.<br \/>\nProficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).<br \/>\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.<br \/>\nStrong organisational skills and ability to multitask.<br \/>\nTeam player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.<br \/>\nFluent in English and preferably one local language.<br \/>\nThe internship may require occasional travel to client sites.<\/p>\n<p>Local business advertising<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nMotivated and qualified candidates should submit their applications by 24th May 2026.
