\nTRANSLATOR (x1)
\nOverall Mission of the Role:
\nTo accurately convert written and\/or spoken content from Chinese into English while maintaining the original meaning, tone, and context. The ideal candidate will have strong linguistic abilities, cultural awareness, and attention to detail.
\nMain Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Translate documents, audio, and other materials from Chinese into English.
\nEnsure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and contextually relevant.
\nProofread and edit translated content for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
\nMaintain the original intent, tone, and style of the source material.
\nResearch industry-specific terminology to ensure precise translation.
\nCollaborate with team members or clients to clarify meaning when necessary.
\nMeet deadlines while managing multiple translation projects.
\nUnderstand the specific needs and adapting objectives of culture diversity and formulate corresponding training plans within the organization
\nResponsible for the statistics and analysis of training data, and adjust the training content according to the results
\nClarify terminologies and information used for translations between English and Chinese, including technical terms and legal terms
\nProofread, edit and revise as needed any written materials such as, legal documents, news reports and organization journals
\nListen to the speakers statements and translate them accordingly to ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone<\/p>\n
Qualifications, Experience and skills required:

Education<\/p>\n
Degree in a Business-related program or Engineering
\nMinimum Certificate of proficiency in Chinese language
\n2 to 3 years work experience in a related\/ similar position and must have worked in a Multi-Cultural Organisation as an added advantage
\nMust be able to understand the specific needs and adapting objectives of culture diversity and formulate corresponding training plans within the organization
\nShould be able to clarify terminologies and information used for translations between English and Chinese, including technical terms and legal terms
\nShould be able to listen to the speakers statements and translate them accordingly to ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone<\/p>\n
Behavioral Skills<\/p>\n
Ability to effectively liaise with and develop inter-departmental relationships within the entire Business Unit.
