Job Description<\/p>\n
The Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
Conduct regular maintenance on workshop machinery and heavy equipment machines to maintain them in good condition.<\/p>\n
Be able dismantle and assemble mechanical components according to specifications.<\/p>\n
Must be able to dispose of oily and greasy contaminated waste materials property<\/p>\n
Maintain work logs, repairs and maintenance records by accurately filling the work order forms.<\/p>\n
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts.<\/p>\n
Must have the sense of the machine (be able to test drive and determine the problem of the machine)<\/p>\n
Be able to cooperate well other work mates and contribute meaningfully to the work environment.<\/p>\n
Be able to assess the machine and make reports and recommendations on what ought to be done to maintain the fitness of the heavy equipment machines. A grade twelve certificate<\/p>\n
Must have a minimum of heavy equipment repair technician certificate from a recognized institution.<\/p>\n
Qualification & Experience<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Must have a minimum of Diploma\/Craft Certificate in Heavy Duty Equipment Repairs from a recognized institution.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
2 years\u2019 industrial work experience in heavy duty repairs.<\/p>\n
In depth knowledge of heavy-duty mechanical systems.<\/p>\n
Strong attention to details with an aptitude for problem solving<\/p>\n
Excellent communication and customer service skills<\/p>\n
