Job Description<\/p>\n
The Automobile Electrician will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
To carry out routine auto electrical inspections on all Zampalm mobile equipment as instructed by the supervisor<\/p>\n
Be able to attend to break down and sort out the problems in timely manner.<\/p>\n
Carry out services and record machine normal operation deviations.<\/p>\n
Able to handle both mechanical, electrical and electronic tools safely.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular maintenance on all Zampalm mobile equipment to maintain them in good condition.<\/p>\n
Be able dismantle and assemble electrical components according to specifications. I.e., starter motors, alternators etc.<\/p>\n
Willingness to observe all safety precautions especially when handling dangerous chemicals.<\/p>\n
Be able to Maintain work logs, repairs and maintenance records by accurately filling the work order forms.<\/p>\n
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts timely.<\/p>\n
Must have the sense of the machine (be able to test drive and determine the problem of the machine)<\/p>\n
Be able to cooperate well with other work mates and contribute meaningfully to the work environment.<\/p>\n
Be able to assess the machine and make reports and recommendations on what ought to be done to maintain the fitness.<\/p>\n
Offer good advice on maintenance and preventative procedures to machine users.<\/p>\n
Monitor inventory and advice the people responsible to order spares when the stocks are running low.<\/p>\n
Qualification & Experience<\/p>\n
Qualification<\/p>\n
A grade twelve certificate<\/p>\n
Must have a minimum of auto electrical craft certificate from a recognized institution.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
A minimum of 2 years work experience<\/p>\n
In depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.<\/p>\n
Strong attention to details with an aptitude for problem solving<\/p>\n
Excellent communication and customer service skills.<\/p>\n
