\nMinimum Required Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
Advanced Diploma in computer science, engineering or relevant field
\nFull Grade Twelve Certificate
\nPaid up Member with ICTAZ
\n3 years\u2019 work experience in IT operations or related field
\nExperience with Windows\/Linux servers and cloud environments.<\/p>\n
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field
\nPaid up membership with ICTAZ
\nCertification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g.CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
\n4 Years Proven work experience as IT Technician or relevant position.
\nExcellent IT diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
\nIn depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
\nGood knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
\nProven documented track record of providing IT services of a similar nature.<\/p>\n

\nSystems and Hardware Technical Support<\/p>\n
Setting up hardware platforms required for installation and configuration of applications and operating systems.
\nUndertaking routine preventive, corrective, and conditional maintenance of IT equipment, as well as recommending disposal of obsolete equipment.
\nEnsuring operating systems on end-point devices and firmware on network devices are up to date.
\nEnsuring all hardware-related issues, including end-user computers, printers, and other devices, are resolved.
\nConducting daily morning health checks and sharing reports with Group IT.<\/p>\n
IT Services and User Management Support<\/p>\n
Setting up end-user accounts and resetting passwords on Active Directory and Office 365 as and when required.
\nSetting up user permissions in relation to shared folder access and allocation of network resources.
\nTroubleshooting and resolving all end-user related IT issues within the Service Desk SLA time frame and escalating to Back Office where necessary.
\nEnsuring anti-virus software on all user computers is up to date.
\nSupporting end-users with issues related to business applications and other applications, including Smartcare, DMAD, Service Desk, and Sage Evolution.
\nDeactivating and\/or removing all former RTC employees from the system.<\/p>\n
Network Infrastructure and Administration Support<\/p>\n
Ensuring that a stable and reliable internet connection is always available.
\nMonitoring network usage and ensuring user compliance with approved guidelines.
\nEnsuring the integrity of LAN\/WAN security.
\nPerforming LAN\/WAN support functions before escalating issues to Back Office.
\nMonitoring network security and reporting any potential or existing threats to the IT Governance, Security, Risk & Compliance Specialist and the IT Infrastructure team.
\nMonitoring the surveillance (CCTV) system to ensure all cameras and NVRs are online and reporting any system failures requiring specialized attention to Back Office.<\/p>\n
Scan, Print and file Management<\/p>\n
Providing adequate protection and reducing the risk of data loss.
\nEnsuring that the print server is functional, in good condition, and that all users are able to print.
\nEnsuring Scan-to-Email functionality is working for all users.
\nInstalling, upgrading, and configuring network printers, directory structures, user access, security software, and file services.<\/p>\n
IT Asset Management<\/p>\n
Maintaining and updating the IT asset register with accurate device, user, and location details.
\nMonitoring the allocation, movement, transfer, and return of IT assets across the organization.
\nConducting periodic asset verification and reconciliation to ensure accountability and accuracy.
\nManaging asset tagging, warranty tracking, maintenance records, and disposal of obsolete equipment.
\nPreparing IT asset inventory reports and ensuring compliance with organizational asset management procedures<\/p>\n
