Your role as a leader is pivotal in steering our sales efforts to new heights, and your ambition sets the tone for achieving exceptional outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>Strategically drives total profitable revenue and market share growth for the assigned Country.<br \/>\n\u00a0Ensures that all opportunities (all segments) for the country are optimized from, to and within the region.<br \/>\nProven track record in driving key hotel specific segments \u2013 Leisure, MICE, Corporate and M&amp;E<br \/>\nThe job incumbent should be active, proactive, analysing and achieving results in every respect.<br \/>\nAll work will be in line with the country guidelines, business plan, Radisson Hotel Group corporate guidelines and service concepts.<br \/>\nTo drive and work with the hotels sales teams in Zambia to drive strategic commercial activity.<br \/>\nDrive performance and market share from all country, regional and global accounts.<br \/>\nRepresent Radisson Hotel Group at meetings as requested to support both sales and the country.<br \/>\nManages all aspects of the hotel\u2019s sales team initiatives.<br \/>\nMaximize the revenue and growth of the hotel by directing the revenue generates activities in accordance with the business plan.<br \/>\nDrive new business for your hotel.<br \/>\nBuild effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all sales opportunities are maximized.<\/p>\n<p>TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br \/>\nOverall Management\/Leadership<br \/>\nInducts all new and existing Hotel Sales teams on all Radisson Hotel Group policies and procedures.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensures they familiarize themselves with product knowledge for the Country portfolio.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain strong relationships throughout the area and hotels; sales, revenue, marketing and operations departments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Lives and acts in accordance with the Radisson Hotel Group corporate values and company culture.<br \/>\n\u2022 Utilizes leadership skills to help maximize hotel sales team\u2019s productivity.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensures that they exceed client expectations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensures that they act as ambassadors or Radisson Hotel Group, becoming acknowledged experts on\u00a0 \u00a0 market and customer issues within the territory of all Radisson Entities in Zambia. Sales Strategy and Delivery \u2022 Conducts regular meetings with the Regional Director of Sales, Africa and General Managers to set\u00a0 objectives, ensure that action plans are in place for the country and review performance of the hotel sales teams.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Identifies new business opportunities or strategies for the hotels in the country.<br \/>\n\u2022 Creates and drives new sales plans when applicable within the country.<br \/>\n\u2022 Achieves overall sales targets for all segments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Implements strategies to facilitate market penetration for increased national and international production to\u00a0 meet increasing demands reflecting in the change and growth of the Company.<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitors sales productivity by ensuring sales tools are used and always up to date.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Increases sales volumes and profitability by formulating and executing projects for all market segments for the country.<br \/>\n\u2022 Analyses sales statistics to formulate and increase profitability.<br \/>\n\u2022 Reviews market analysis to determine client needs, occupancy potential, desired and competitive rates etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Drive business with the focus on total profitable revenue.<br \/>\n\u2022 New market and segment development and optimisation of the sales value chain<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Desirable University or tertiary qualification<br \/>\n3 Years sales account management<br \/>\n7 Years\u00a0experience in the hotel industry<br \/>\nExcellent and fluent in English<br \/>\nLeisure Industry experience essential<br \/>\nAchieve sales goals by managing the sales team.<br \/>\nA proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and sales productivity.<br \/>\nCommercially astute, multi-tasker who is motivated by challenge.<br \/>\nDriven and ambitious to increase productivity and sales volume with appropriate techniques.<br \/>\nClear thinker with excellent\u00a0\u00a0communication\u00a0abilities and attention to detail<br \/>\nStrong negotiation skills.<br \/>\nAbility to enhance the hotels community image.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s all about the experience and the sale, so say Yes I Can!<\/p>\n<p>Additional Information<\/p>\n<p>Why Join Radisson Hotel Group?<br \/>\nLive the Magic of Hospitality \u2013\u00a0Be part of a team that creates\u00a0exceptional experiences and memorable moments\u00a0every day.
